Following is a brief history of WCS Contractors, Ltd. (formerly Wilson Plastering, established in 1959).

WCS is a third generation, family operated business that has provided quality services to general contractors for over 40 years. Our expertise includes commercial drywall & acoustics, fireproofing, lath & plaster, EIFS and cultured stone. We specialize in the design, engineering and prefabrication of exterior panel systems using EIFS, tile & brick finishes. We have completed numerous government contracts that include military, VA and HUD. Other sectors include medical, office, hotel, retail, educational, correctional and religious. Higher profile projects we have subcontracted include Lincoln Center in San Antonio and II Commodore Plaza in Austin. We also subcontracted the Crawford, Texas residence of President George W. Bush. Although we no longer work outside of Texas, we have successfully completed projects in New Mexico, Oklahoma, North Carolina, South Carolina, Ohio and Louisiana.

WCS is fully insured and bondable and is among an elite group of subcontractors who don’t have EIFS exclusions in their general liability policies. Consequently, we are able to provide adequate EIFS coverage thereby limiting our General Contractors’ exposure. Of many contractors, only a select few have the honorable distinction of being an EIFSmart contractor. The classification requires extensive training and an increased ratio of supervision to manpower. WCS Contractors, Ltd. is an EIFSmart contractor.
